Share, Save, Spend

Children should be taught about the importance of money so that they will not take it for granted especially with current economic situation.

Here’s a way you can teach your children:
Prepare 3 envelopes by labelling each of them as “Share”, “Save”, and “Spend”.

Then when you give your child money for their weekly or daily expenses or even ang paos they get during Chinese New Year, encourage them to split the money into the 3 envelopes.

Each envelope can have a certain percentage of money that they should keep from the money they got. It is up to you or ask your child how much they want to keep in each.

With the envelope, they will know which money they should be shared, spent, or saved.

In fact, adults can do the same too, who knows you might get your dream manufactured home.
